Teologul favorit al lui Obama

Se pare ca teologul preferat de presedintele Obama este pastorul protestant Reinhold Niebuhr.
Desi prezentat ca filosof atunci cand Obama l-ar fi indicat ca preferat, totusi activitatea centrala a pastorului a avut in vedere relatia bisericii, a crestinismului cu societatea- si in special anumite aspecte sociale ale capitalismului.
Lui Reinhold Niebuhr i se atribuie faimoasele randuri :
„God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change ,the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
